indieDwell Releases 2020 Impact Report

indieDwell released its first annual impact report for the year 2020. As a Certified B-Corp the company keeps detailed metrics on social and environmental goals, as well as issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion. Highlights from the report include:

  • An indieDwell home is 46% more efficient than a home built to the International Residential Code

  • indieDwell homes on average prevent 3.3 tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere

  • indieDwell certified 32 homes under either Energy Star, U.S. EPA Indoor AirPlus, or the U.S. Department of Energy’s Zero Energy Ready Home standard

  • Completed a greenhouse gas survey of the Caldwell production facility and will operate it as a carbon neutral facility in Q2 2021

  • The Caldwell Factory recycles 90% of the waste it produces in the manufacturing process

indieDwell’s mission and vision directly relate to 12 out of 17 of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
